Peers and Careers workshops

Peers and Careers workshops are informal sessions for students to discuss key employability topics, ask questions and learn from the career experiences of other students. Workshops are facilitated by experienced, successful current BEL students and BEL Career Services.

By attending these sessions, you will:

  • learn about key employability topics in a fun informal way
  • hear and learn from the recruitment and employability experiences of other students
  • be able to ask questions, set the agenda for the session and learn what you really want to know.

Each session covers a specific employment topic including:

  • how to break the ice at networking events
  • career tips for international students
  • career secrets of successful students
  • how to promote your skills when you have limited work experience
  • career tips from successful women.
