Top tips

  • Aim for high scores / results to show prospective employers that you’re persistent and a hard worker.
  • Keep in touch with the School as much as you can. The School sends out a fortnightly e-newsletter called Currency  – it’s handy for internship or part-time work opportunities, article links and more.
  • Participate in UQ’s clubs and societies. Get involved and you’ll find it’s much easier to find like-minded people.
  • Before exam season starts, figure out a good study spot. During exams it can be hard to find a good spot to study so check out library spaces early on.
