Griffith Law School proudly invites you to the inaugural Meet the Profession networking event for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law students. We've collaborated with Bond University, QUT and The University of Queensland to increase opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law students to diversify the legal profession.

Join us during Law Week to hear from a panel of distinguished Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law alumni, drawn from all four universities, to discuss: "Where are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in law and justice?"

Panel members

  • Cameron Costello (Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation)
  • Candice Hughes (YFS Legal)
  • Emily MacDonald (MinterEllison)
  • Rebecca Price (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission)

Hosted by Griffith Law School alumnus and barrister Joshua Creamer, listen as our graduates share their stories, lessons learned and the progress that's still to be made. After the panel, meet Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law students from across Brisbane and the Gold Coast and legal professionals committed to reconciliation.
