Join two senior risk professionals in the Australian financial services industry for a webinar on Modern risk management in the post-COVID-19 era.

QIC’s David Clarke, Chief Risk Officer, and Deb Barnes, Deputy Chief Risk Officer, have worked at QIC since 2007 and 2006 respectively, and have been integral to the management of pro-actively responding to COVID-19 as well as many other significant industry and macro-economic occurrences (such as the 2008 global financial crisis).

They will take you through their tips for modern risk management in a post-COVID world and share what has worked well for them at QIC. You will hear practical insights from two experts in the industry, how they see the future of risk management, and the attributes they regard as essential for managing risk including the attributes they look for in risk professionals.

Ample time will be allocated for audience Q&A and a discussion following the presentation.

Your host Professor Phil Bodman, Deputy Executive Dean of The University of Queensland Faculty of Business Economics and Law (BEL), looks forward to welcoming you to this online event.

There is no cost to attend this webinar, however registration is essential. Registrations close on Tuesday 16 June 2020.
