Rhea is responsible for the strategic development and management of programs designed to enhance student employability skills and strengthen industry partnerships with the aim of UQ BEL becoming a destination of choice for graduate employers.
With the support of her large team of Employability Specialists, Rhea fosters the professional growth of students by helping them build life and job specific skills, industry connections and career direction. This includes access to career and employability workshops co-run with employers, inspirational leadership presentations, work experience and internships, mentoring, voluntary work, community engagement and graduate employment opportunities.
Rhea has extensive HR advisory and recruitment consulting experience gained within large blue-chip multinational organisations, most recently ANZ. She has experience in leading and managing onshore and offshore teams towards achieving strategic and operational outcomes and is particularly passionate about achieving stakeholder satisfaction. She has a degree majoring in Industrial/Organisational Psychology and a Masters of Human Resource Management.
