Jacqueline developed her professional career mainly in Big 4 Professional Services Firms, working for Deloitte and PwC, in Business Services, Insolvency & Receivership, and Audit & Assurance.

She worked in Papua New Guinea, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, auditing large multinational corporations across a range of industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Resources, and Government. In addition, Jacqueline also has commercial accounting, business, recruitment, training and coaching experience.

Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) from the PNG University of Technology. She also attained the status of CPA in 2003.

Areas of responsibility

  • Managing the BEL Career Mentoring Program (CMP) and the Edge Leadership Series
  • Engaging with industry to source senior business leaders, as guest speakers for the Edge Leadership Series, and with industry professionals, to source mentors for the Career Mentoring Program.
  • Providing career coaching, mentoring and career planning and development for all students with a focus on developing employability skills and positioning students for life after university
  • Providing first hand industry insights and experience to support BEL students to transition into the world of work.
  • Business Development initiatives to source potential internship and graduate opportunities for BEL Students.
