Annita has extensive experience in the management of major research initiatives, bringing together researchers from diverse disciplines, government stakeholders and industry partners, to maximize the impact of university research. With a background in intellectual property and the life sciences, Annita’s previous roles include Manager, Innovation and Commercial Development at the University of Queensland’s Queensland Brain Institute, and Chief Operating Officer and Manager Research Translation and Stakeholder Engagement for the ARC Science of Learning Research Centre. Annita joined UQ from QUT where she was the inaugural Manager of a recently created Centre for Behavioural Economics.
