To apply, you are required to submit a personal statement (no more than 1000 words) and an official copy of your academic transcript. If English is not your first language you may be required to include appropriate evidence of English language proficiency. However, proof of English language proficiency is not a mandatory requirement to apply for the program.

1. Understand the costs and inclusions

The complete program fee for Queensland in July is AUD $4000 per person.

This fee includes:

  • a non-refundable AUD$300 deposit to secure your place in the program
  • academic tuition and assessment
  • course materials
  • welcome event
  • farewell event and certificate ceremony
  • 2-day/1-night excursion to North Stradbroke Island (meals, accommodation, transport and activities for this trip are included in this program fee)
  • course-related site visits and field trips
  • student support services before, during and after the program
  • UQ certificate of completion 

This fee does not include the costs of:

  • accommodation during your stay (except for North Stradbroke Island excursion)
  • meals during your stay (except during North Stradbroke Island excursion)
  • airfares and other travel-related expenses (e.g. visa, departure taxes, health and travel insurance)
  • personal expenses and spending money
  • daily transport
  • recreational activities undertaken during your stay.
