Follow the road to success at BELfest – a free exclusive festival to celebrate the beginning of your studies. Attend a compuslory information session to find out what to expect in your program, have your questions answered and meet your professors and classmates. 

Enjoy getting to know your fellow peers over drinks and meet some cute, native (furry and prickly) friends.

The real fun begins at our BEL festival (BELfest) – your exclusive free welcome event! There will be stacks of food stalls (and free food), live entertainment, competitions, chill out zones, games and more. You’ll meet like-minded friends and also have the opportunity to win big with plenty of prizes and giveaways to be won. 

BELfest is where you can find out about a range of support services and events, so you can take advantage of all of UQ’s professional and personal perks. You can also chat with reps from our award-winning Student Employability Team, societies, plus expert librarians and other students and staff.
