Study overseas application process
This process will take you through what's involved to apply and take part in overseas study.
1. Progression check
Complete a progression check to determine the courses required for you to meet the requirements of your BEL program or BEL component of a dual program. Your progression check will allow you to tick off the courses you have successfully passed whilst enrolled in your program (including credit from previous UQ study or through a credit transfer from another institution). You will be required to indicate the courses you are currently enrolled in, the courses you plan to undertake on exchange and also the courses you plan to enrol in when you return to UQ.
The BEL Faculty have online progression check sheets for each BEL undergraduate program, along with detailed instructions on how to use them. They are dated to indicate the year of your program commencement. Postgraduate students can request assistance from their School.
