Build your brand

Industry Masterclasses

Host an Industry Masterclass at our St Lucia campus or online to engage students on current industry trends, career opportunities or important recruitment skills.

Sessions go for up to 90 minutes and can provide:

  • insights on the latest developments in your company or industry sector
  • activities to develop key technical or transferable skills
  • opportunities to learn about career pathways and build recruitment readiness.

Each Masterclass provides students a unique development opportunity that value-adds to their classroom learning and helps prepare them for a successful graduate career transition.

BEL Careers and Employability will provide event support such as on-campus venue booking, AV capabilities, event promotion, student registrations and post-event follow-up.

Career panels

Join an in-person or virtual panel of industry experts and alumni as we discuss personal career journeys, industry trends and opportunities, and how students can best develop the skills and capabilities required for success.

Our panels are coordinated and facilitated by BEL Careers and Employability; we will work with you to identify a topic, suitable session structure, and prepare questions for the panellists. Panels may be combined with an informal networking opportunity for the attending students and company representatives.

Workplace visits

Showcase your organisation by hosting students on an office visit that provides a glimpse of the exciting work you do. Welcoming a group of discipline-relevant students to meet your team is a great way to demonstrate your organisational culture and generate interest in your industry and company.

BEL Careers and Employability can help arrange group visits to a single site or as part of a coordinated “Office Crawl” to two or three workplaces.

Career Convos

Host a semi-formal conversation for personalised discussions with small groups of students. Career Convos generally centre around your organisation, your graduate pathways and internship opportunities.

BEL Careers and Employability will provide a venue on campus for you to meet with students in-person, and AV capabilities if you would like to present.

Company presentation

A cost-effective and impactful way to reach our students is for you to host an online company presentation. Whether you simply want to introduce your organisation or showcase your latest graduate and vacation programs, BEL Careers and Employability can promote your webinar using your pre-prepared company materials.

Please contact us at least four weeks prior to your webinar with details of the session, approved marketing materials (including copy and images) and your intended target audience. We will then reply with a plan for promoting your event in student newsletters, relevant courses and on our BEL Careers and Employability Facebook page.

Please note that we are unable to host company presentations for you, neither online nor on campus. You are welcome to consider our Industry Masterclass offering as an alternative way to meaningfully engage our students.
