Dr Zoe Cahill is the Faculty Executive Manager (FEM) for the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.

As FEM, Dr Cahill contributes to the strategic and operational management of the Faculty, and service design and delivery within the broader UQ professional services operating environment. Dr Cahill is the liaison between the Faculty and UQ professional service functions within the Chancellery portfolios (DVC-A, DVC-EE, DVC-R and COO).

Dr Cahill has nearly 10 years’ experience across the tertiary and early education sectors.

Prior to her appointment as FEM in August 2019, Dr Cahill was Deputy Director (Operations) of UQ’s Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. She was also previously the Research and Operations Manager for the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre.

Dr Cahill is the co-founder of UQ’s General Managers Community of Practice and President of Margaret Cribb Early Learning. She is a graduate of the Women in Technology Board Readiness program.

Dr Cahill holds a PhD in fetal neurophysiology and an Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience from Monash University.
