What are the best things about your program and about UQ?
The best part about the Master of Commerce is the flexibility and the courses offered that allowed me to either specialise in one field from applied finance, professional accounting or information systems, or complete a dual major, learning subjects in the two fields. I could choose to make the most out of my two years.
UQ caters to students from varied nationalities and does it exceedingly well by making everyone feel welcome.
What have you liked most about living in Brisbane?
The peaceful environment and beautiful sky at all times was the highlight for me.
How does it feel to receive a UQ Scholarship?
I applied for UQ BEL-India scholarship and it was truly an honour to be one of the recipients. The feeling was amazing and icing on the cake. Getting a scholarship has also motivated me to push myself more to excel so that I can be considered for scholarships in the future.

I aspire to make it big in the financial world. I wish to work in a field full of new challenges that is intellectually fulfilling and allows me to enhance my skills while making a difference.
What advice would you give to students from your home country who are considering UQ as their study destination?
Studying overseas, away from home isn't as easy as it sounds. The decision, followed by the procedures and finally fulfilling your dream to study in UQ won't be a cakewalk, but it absolutely will be worth all the effort.
The entire journey will give you unparalleled endurance to face situations that you can’t attain by reading books, but by stepping out of your comfort zone and making the most of the opportunity.
