A prestigious Stanford University database has named 29 UQ Faculty of Business, Economics and Law researchers among the world’s top 100,000 most-cited authors in their field.
The database classifies researchers into 22 scientific fields and measures their citation impact over their entire career and the 2020 calendar year.
BEL Faculty Associate Dean (Research) Professor Martie-Louise Verreynne said the database was widely seen as one of the leading ways to measure the impact and productivity of researchers.

“These researchers are among the best in the world in their field of study,” Professor Verreynne said.
“Their research advances knowledge and engages with the key issues facing the world today, from the costs of climate change to trust in AI."
“We are very proud of the contributions they are making to global society.”
