BEL Chamber Ensemble
The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law's Chamber Ensemble is an ensemble which caters for staff and students from all Faculties, directed and conducted by the renowned maestro, Bevan Messenger. Musicians are given the opportunity to continue to develop their advanced ensemble skills through weekly rehearsals and performances during the two semesters, including opportunities for paid performances.
The expected minimum standard for each instrument are:
- Violin: Grade 7 AMEB or equivalent
- Viola: Grade 6 AMEB or equivalent
- Cello: Grade 6 AMEB or equivalent
- Bass: Grade 5 AMEB or equivalent
- Woodwind: Grade 6 AMEB or equivalent
- Brass: Grade 6 AMEB or equivalent

The BEL Chamber Ensemble is available for hire for University or private events in a number of different instrumental configurations (duets, trios, quartets or full ensemble).
