Alumni Ambassadors

About Alumni Ambassadors

The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) formally established the Alumni Ambassador program in 2013, with nine location-based councils established as at 2020.  Ambassadors are appointed to represent the interests of over 90,090 alumni across the world to build strong connections between alumni and to advance the mission of the Faculty and UQ.

As representatives of the university, ambassadors seek to advance UQ’s reputation, and work with BEL at a strategic level to steer alumni engagement agendas.

Become an Alumni Ambassador

From time to time, positions become available on Alumni Ambassador Councils. We aim to fill the vacant seats on our councils with engaged alumni who actively want to participate on the council and further its aims. Alumni who are interested in applying for an Ambassador role can do so by reading through the role description and completing the online expression of interest form.
