Do you enjoy solving challenges? Are you inspired by bold ideas?
Does learning and working creatively with others energise you?
At this free, full-day ideation experience, you will partner with student, staff and industry changemakers to disrupt the way our students learn at UQ.
On the day, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and be guided by experts from UQ Idea Hub to participate in a series of collaborative and practical exercises to help you brainstorm, co-create and move your ideas from innovation to impact.
Our shared goal is clear: design a new course that will transform and redefine the learning experience for business, economics and law students.
Think like an entrepreneur and unleash your creativity to design a new education experience.
About the CreateAthon
This event is an initiative of a UQ Student-Staff Partnership project within UQ’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.
As a Faculty, we strive to empower our students to tackle challenges of all sizes, think like entrepreneurs and learn skills that will help them create long-lasting and positive change in the world.
The goal of this event is for participants to collaborate in diverse teams to disrupt the status quo, ideate and use divergent thinking to help come up with an idea for a new learning experience for students.
Following the CreateAthon, this new co-created learning experience will be brought to life and made available to business, economics and law students from 2020.
