Two BEL alumni named AFR BOSS Young Executives of the Year

Two University of Queensland Faculty of Business, Economics and Law alumni have received 2021 AFR BOSS Young Executives of the Year honours.

Fahim Khondaker and Tara Osborne – both graduates of UQ's Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Economics program – were among an exclusive group of six exceptional young leaders recognised this year.

The recipients were selected for their leadership in the community and in industry, and their strong track record in people and thought leadership.

As part of the AFR BOSS Young Executives program, the finalists were chosen to take part in a day-long simulation of a day in the life of a CEO.

Finalists were determined by three judges – Westpac director Nerida Caesar, managing director of marketing consultancy Business Benefits International Bonnie Boezeman, and CEO of Publicis Groupe Michael Rebelo.
